So I got an invite however the email that received it isn’t the same email that is connected to my Xbox account. Will I still be able to use the invite or am I out of luck?
You won’t be able to play on your gamertag of choice if the invite wasn’t sent to that email address, you’ll need to log in with the email that was invited and play on whatever gamertag is associated with that address. To avoid that in future, make sure to update your Insider Profile here and have your comms email match the email you use with your gamertag
Just changed mine to match my account hope I can still get in I got the invite but of course I can’t download the flight

Would it at all be possible to get a second for this flight, or will I need to wait until next weekend for another chance?
If your proper gamertag is now fully registered, then yes there is a chance it may get an invite to the BTB flight. There are no guarantees
