What do you think will be the elites role in halo 5
I think allies/foes. i also think arbiter wont play a huge roll like everyone thinks

Yes it seems likely that Arby’s role is only going to be a short cameo.

More on topic, seems like they know what chief is up to based on the latest episode of hunt the truth, they knew he was not guilty. Hopefully arbiter gets some playable portions of the campaign.
Also, why are so many people jumping on the arbiter cameo only bandwagon? He looks like his is about to jump into battle with locke, I think he will play an important factor.
Even if the arbiter does not play a big roll, I will be happy either way with him being in the game. Though if the arbiter or rtas(please have him be a cameo) ends up being killed, I will cry.

Holy crap. I didn’t realize he was doing that all day…
In campaign?
Allies to Locke (at least Arby’s elites)
Enemies to Chief (The strom faction still hostile, don’t know about how Arby feels about being on Lockes team as they are friends)
Multiplayer?
Absolutely will not feature in mainstream matchmaking. I say not mainstream matchmaking because they might add them in custom games and special Elite vs Spartan gamemodes.
I honestly think that Elites are not very interesting in multiplayer, I think the abilty to play as Prometheans would be sick for a asymmetrical gametype.
Think of it like flood mode, where there is a team of spartans surviving against player controlled Promethean foes instead of flood.
There would be AI controlled Prometheans as well, that can be spawned by player controlled watchers. You can choose to be a Knight or a Watcher. The watcher heals and protects and the Knights fight. Crawlers would be spawned by players to distract spartan teams.
Maybe as side enemies or AI that you fight with but probably not as major characters.
The Elites role in Halo 5 will be cannon fodder.
