I was thinking that if armour abilities are being replaced with spartan abilities, what’s going to happen to abilities like Active Camo and promethian vision, and it would be cool if 343 made another whole multiplayer mode where you play as an elite with the spartan abilities replaced by unique elite abilities. If that was going to happen which abilities would you implement in that mode - you could maybe just give each spartan ability a new animation…
It would work, but only as separate gametype. The whole point of “fair starts” is that everyone begins with the same abilities and weapons.
Personally I’d much rather let the game allow anyone to play as either Spartan or Elite in any gametype without restriction ala Halo 2 and Halo 3.
