Elites in halo 4 multiplayer

I have always been a more of a fan of the Elite player model in the Halo series and I was glad that Halo 3 allowed me to play as an Elite in the multiplayer and that I could customize it. I can say I was disappointed when Halo: Reach didn’t let me use my Elite player model in the multiplayer unless it was specifically and Elite playlist but I understood that it went along with the campaign in which Humans and Elites didn’t really get along yet. I didn’t like also that the only models I could be were already pre-made but I accepted it.

This would be more of a question for the Studio themselves but I also want your opinions.
Should Halo 4 include Elites again in its multiplayer. When I say include; I mean that we will be able to customize an Elite model and be able to play as it in any playlist instead of the model being just exclusive to Elite vs. Elite games. I want it to be like Halo 3 again where there could be Spartans and Elites mixed together on one team. And it actually goes along with the Halo 4 story seeing as the war between humans and the Covenant/Elites is over. There should be at the very least a small alliance between humans and Elite by now.

What do you guys think?

I think we should care about stuff like this, when we get info.

Don’t flame me please

and so the waiting game begins…

Personally, I would like them back, they were great for SWAT, =]

I kinda do agree with FlintGT, but I really hope they bring the Sangheili back in multiplayer. It would be cool to play as Jiralhanae and Forerunner as well.

You mean that ugly, pea sized helmet that made you look like a dinosaur that was dropped on it’s head?

I’d like to see Elites return in the multiplayer, and I’d like to see them imbued with a little more personality. While the silent and stoic routine fits the Spartans well, I think that one way to differentiate Elite multiplayer is to include some of their vocalisations (like the famous “Wort wort wort”) and just make them seem more… alive. Perhaps their jaws could splay after they’ve made a kill, or their animation could be upgraded to make them seem like more fearsome warriors.

It was just strange to go from the highly expressive Elites in the campaign to their muted brethren in the multiplayer.
