Elites have been overlooked.

In halo 2, they brought elites to the playing field in MM, you could change his colors.

In halo 3, they made armor for them, and made the armor customizable to fit your personality.

In halo Reach…they were cool and all but…where was the customization? i honestly wouldve loved to customized a zealot in reach with like ultra armor, AMAZING. but no. nothing.

So in halo 4, even though there isnt upposed to be covenant, would you please add them to MM with customizable armor???

Plz? with a cookie flavored cake on top?

This. THe Elites should be just as customizable as the Spartans. We should have access to all the Elite armor seen in the series, this includes all the games, books and comics.

yea one thing i forgot to add, but probably wont happen as the covanant war is over…

why not let you play as your elite in campaign? i mean, no i wouldnt work in reach, but halo 3, 3/4 of the the people on a 4 coop campaign were elites…but not YOUR elites.

The elites and UNSC will come in half way through the game to help MC.

Anyway, yes they should be more customisable armour in halo 4.

has that been confirmed? last i heard they wernt being used in the game.

It’s overlooked! Not looked over! :frowning:

Yeah, I hope Elites make a REAL return to matchmaking in Halo 4. In Halo Reach they basically took what was an alternate costume, and turned it into a big “gimmick” with Elite Slayer, firefight vs, and Invasion. Now I’m not saying you shouldn’t have toggle options to force player species, or that you shouldn’t use Invasion or Firefight vs anymore. But I am saying that in MOST cases, your preferred species should be the model you play.

If in Reach Elites were allowed in every gametype except Pro, MLG, and Arena, I would understand fully. But players should have free choice of model in other gamemodes.

Elites should have everything the spartans have…

haha you dont know how long it took me to figure out how to say what i was trying to say, then i still get it wrong…sad face.

fixed, that should get BS Angel’s attention, lol

haha kitty cat topped cookie cake? that would get MY attention.

Honestly, I think the Elites have no place in 4, based on what we know so far (as more info is released, I may change my mind). Maybe in 5 or 6, but not 4.

But, I was thinking, imagine and ODST sized Halo 4 Expansion about the Arbiter set post Halo 3. That, I think, could be amazing.

im not sure i follow, but i already told you people that i knew they wernt in halo 4, but that dosent mean we cant play as them online right?

We don’t know for sure if Elites are in Halo 4 or not. They probably won’t be a big part but we may see the Arbiter for a few seconds who knows 0_o?

If you thought they weren’t getting much love in previous games I think you’re going to be really dissapointed in H4. If they are in multiplayer I woulf bet it’s like 1 or 2 Elite exclusives because I really see no place that they could fit into the new story without really making me want to rage. I know multiplayer isn’t technically canon but it would be a little pointless. I see 343 making the new threat or whatever about equivilent size to MC and having multiplayer strictly Spartan and Forerunner(or whatever the new ancient threat is).

Based on what we have? Lets see, we have: One new weapon
You will play as the Master chief.

//That is all.

So, based on what we have. The elites could make an appearance, atleast in multiplayer.

Elites run faster than spartans in Halo: Reach. They are much taller. Harder to hit from the back. They’re OP. That’s why they can’t be in matchmaking and stuff. I personally don’t like them.

Considering you know NOTHING about the new campaign other than “Master Chief finds a forerunner structure”, you have absolutely NOTHING to judge how Elites would fit into the new story on.

IMO, making humanoid clones would be very uninteresting. To many series’ make the mistake of assuming alien life would be humanoid, just look at Mass Effect, Star Trek, Star Wars etc.

Have you ever played Invasion Slayer? Elites lose at least 90% of the time. They were BARELY better than Spartans in the Beta, but since they buffed Spartans in movement speed and jump height, there is no advantage whatsoever. And why the hell are players STILL in the friggin Halo 3 “Elits hedds r impossibl 2 hit frum the bak!” NEITHER Halo 2 OR Reach suffer this problem AT ALL. It’s just more limited excuses.

And even if they are different in Reach, a small modification to their stats in the gametype would abolish all the differences, all that would be left is that Elites are bigger than spartans which is a MUCH BIGGER disadvantage than being slower, or slightly slower charging shields etc.

What ground do you have to stand on that they won’t be rebalanced in Halo 4 anyway?

This

Bungie made it Public that they could not customize the Armour for the Elites because of the fact that it would put too much of a strain to the Elite Character Models. Since Elites in Halo: Reach are also Enemy AI Models as well as Player Models, this reason seems legitimate.
