alright I know this is a pretty dead topic, but hey ho. I can see why they’re not in halo 5 and its probally because of the player model giving an unfair disadvantage in the competitive play, because elites have always had a massive hit box in comparison to the Spartans.
But why not make some playable elites for warzone and BTB when BTB is realised anyway. both are casual playlists where you can just play for fun and most people won’t be bothered about the disadvantage. It’s not to late to add them in and I’m sure a lot of the player base will appreciate it.
It might be too much to add this late into the game, they’d have to do some seriously heavy coding for it.
Also…it kind of breaks the whole War Games simulation thing going on. Why would Spartans want to play as Elites? They don’t LIKE them, they kill them, in the thousands.

I know, but in the end we are playing a game, and making it more diverse makes it funner. Every time they said its not part of the simulation, I think thats stupid, this is a game after all.

Yep bringing in lore towards matchmaking/multiplayer that limits the games potential is a dumb move.
