I get the flood maybe surviving, but it’s unlikely the arc at the end of Halo 3 was supposed to destroy them. Then again the flood survived the forerunner’s attempt to destroy them and How they might survive is shown in the terminals in anniversary. The covenant were destroyed in Halo 3, the only covenant that could be in Halo 4 is any that were stranded on the planet or maybe heretics. I don’t know you may be right. This video says “and we’ll be learning more about them later on” that doesn’t mean they will be in the future games, but maybe models or anime. But in all honesty I hope in some way they are, because I WANT COVENANT AND HUMAN WEAPONS, halo wouldn’t be the same without covenant weapons like the sword and plasma grenade/pistol

All over, but it just say “and we’ll learn more about this sometime in the future.” Which doesn’t mean they’ll be in games but maybe books or other fiction. But the video is pretty good you should check it out anyway.

From that video there is nothing saying for sure that the covenant will be in halo 4, but Frank did say that they weren’t done with them.
Personally I am really wanting them to be in halo 4 along with the elites.

all im happy about is the “elites are the ones who will adapt the best to leaving the covies” I can’t wait to see what role they will play in H4 and i still have my fingers crossed to being able to play them in MM halo 3-style.

Look why would Frankie go into talking about all this if they were not going to add it to Halo 4? Also the Arbiter is in CEA. Not in actual gameplay, but if you boot up Silent Cartographer, the art for the level you see when you’re sitting in the lobby has the Arbiter on it. Hes in the top left corner. This is pointing to the fact that he has a role in Halo 4. He basically said it I mean jeez. Watch the whole thing.

Did you read my thing about the Arbiter? Also the concept art trailer had purple ships. Saying no purple mean the covenant will not be the MAIN part of the campaign, the new enemy will be.
