Why is this a thread? There won’t be Elites and no split-screen for campaign. Just get used to the changes.

I play as an elite and I’m actually good. I also go online with 4 player split screen all the time. I want both back bUT I will atleast settle for split screen
Elites may be cool for machinima’s but i dont think its a necessity to have. Split screen on the other hand? come on 343i we need that.

Please, the entire main splitscreen thread is a couple dozen of the same unique users posting back and forth. I don’t expect them to allocate the resources into implementing splitscreen based on just a handful of people in the grand scheme of things. More people care about playing as elites than split screen lol.

It’s not the -Yoinking!- lottery m8. It’s like going to buy a new car that has always had a backseat but this time the backsest doesn’t exist because only 25% of people who bought it used it. Who cares of they are a minority they are still your customer. If you remove enough stuff your community will give their money to someone else. So far it’s been alot of stuff stripped out because a minority of people used them. But if you keep doing that eventually you won’t have a fan base left

You know what most rational people do in that scenario? Buy a different car that meets their needs.
Elites were broken in halo 2 and 3, any competitive, swat, or team sniper player could tell you, they were to easy to get that perfect headshot. Halo Reach did it right, Made the Elites a new class, Faster base speed, stronger shields, regenerative health, But Taller and bigger hit boxes. But the problem was they couldn’t be used in most gamemodes for it ruined the balance in a lot of matches. Why during the MP trailers, you saw spartans and elites fighting together against spatans and elites for what loked like TS and BTB, But that option was gone in final release. Overall, for balanced gameplay, Elites are a horrible Idea, Halo MCC is the perfect example, Fr they always turn into bullet sponges for they are easier to pick out in a firefight. why rarely no one uses them, like 1 in 300
Split Screen during Campaign. After Reach, I REFUSE to split screen campaign with anyone on halo. They had to cut the graphics and FPS back so much on Halo: Reach, it looked like garbage, and Halo 4 had it’s problems too with huge FPS issues, Halo 5 would be the same way, and with the power and epicness they are throwing into the levels, you would end up having a next gen console graphics reduced to 360 and I may lose my 60fps. Screw that, If you want to play with me, sorry, your going to need to get your own Xbone and Halo 5 copy

Split-Screen won’t be possible because people ALWAYS complained of the frame drop in the Master Chief Collection Split-Screen. It would be better because people won’t be complaining of that because it wouldn’t exist. On the other hand, some people don’t mind frame drop, they have the right to complain. So unless you always -Yoink- cause of frame rate drop, you can complain. Because most people complain, 343 decided to have no split-screen.
We have both a splitscreen thread and an Elites thread, which is over 10,000 posts long.
Let’s keep both these topics there.
