Elite unfair?

Do you think an elite controller (scuf too) gives people an advantage over a normal controller? Because you can jump and thruster without taking your thumbs off the sticks…

No, not really. You could do the same thing by mapping your controller differently. It all depends on ones individual skill and their preference.

You can get an Afterglow controller for basically the same price as a normal one, which comes with like six additional “buttons” on the back of it.

Do those kinds of controllers give an advantage? Yeah, depending on controller layout. Is it an insurmountable or significantly unfair advantage? Eh, not really.

given their price tag its a huge investment, i would definitely say its helped me, jumping and thrusters without taking your thumb off the thumbstick is really useful. if i sound like a scrub, so be it. definitely worth the money i think

It’s definitely an advantage, but not a game breaking one. Microsoft would have to be crazy to sell game hacks, right guys?

It’s not unfair. All of my friends who have Elite controllers don’t even use bumbers because they’re way too hard to get used to

I switched to a scuf and still suck. So. Nope.

Besides, wasn’t recon or bumper jumper (or something) already like that anyway?

Most definitely. It allows a player to press any face button without removing their thumbs by allowing the use of paddles. It’s a definite advantage.

But, it’s not cheating. It’s official gear and anyone can buy it (for a price).

Doesn’t mean it will make you better though.

Nah, man.

With a standard controller, regardless of your custom mapping, will require you to remove your thumb from the thumbstick at some point. That is a huge disadvantage in shooters. Paddles completely remove that necessity.

It’s a definite advantage, but not game breaking.

Yeah, there you go. Advantage, yes. Unfair, hardly.
