They need to make the elite Officer armor available to everyone, kind of like how they released Halo 3 Recon to everyone.

It is very clickbaity, which means I knew exactly what you were going to say.
Bungie released Recon to everybody, but they had to complete the Vidmaster challenges (which weren’t simple).
Elite officer armor carries none of the same weight as Recon. Not even close.
The codes are like $10 on eBay if you really want them.
343i and/or Bungie gave everyone Recon regardless of these achievements a few years ago.

Really? I guess I just didn’t notice it because it was 5 years too late. I had it from the Vidmasters anyway. Seems a little cheap to have unlocked it for everyone.
Agreed. Also give everyone the UA/Multi-Threat chest piece. No reason for that to remain exclusive anymore…

everyone knows that’s never going to happen, and that’s possibly the worst idea too. why give away DLC like that?

Why not? It’s one little chest piece, and I’ve heard a lot of people who pre-ordered from GameStop didn’t even get it; GameStop -Yoinked!- it up somehow…

It’s a lot smaller a number than you think though and there are even less now than there were originally (I don’t think you’ve ever needed more than 2 hands to couny the number of employees)
Ditto. All easy to get DLC armor and such should be released before 343i dips. I want my recon back. no idea where it went.

This is one of the better games of Halo anyways.
If you scrubs never got any of these things because never pre-ordered the game then clearly didn’t care much for the game to begin with.
In short, you shouldn’t worry about having these missed out items.
I don’t own the officer but i’d prefer it if it remained exclusive. I feel like it would lose some of its magic if everyone was sporting it.
