I am incredibly upset with myself for not getting it but was curious to see if there will ever be an additional way to get the Officer Elite armor. If I could trade fotus in halo 4 for it, I would XD
It was only available in the Limited and Legendary editions of the game. No other way to unlock it.

As i said in the original post i was curious if they had plans for the future, much like when recon was given away in Halo 3. If I could find somewhere to buy a code, i would.
Probably not, Recon was given out as part of the final transition of Halo services.
You can’t get it on the game only with legendary/limited editions

Yes I know, but as I said Recon was released for everyone, that is why I was curious if they had any plans to release it, or at least allow people to buy it.
You can’t get Recon anymore. They also never gave away the Bungie chest in Halo 3. So It’s more than likely not going to happen.

Yeah, but who would be getting a copy of Halo 3 in 2016 anyway the people who already had the game were given recon.
As I said its not going to happen. They’re focused on other things than making an Elite free just because someone didn’t buy the Limited edition.
I bought a used version of the game at gamestop. This was probably 2 years ago now, but they have me the danger helmet, the fire on the head thing, the elite officer armor, 2 day pass, and a falcon for my avator

I bought the Limited Edition at Wal-Mart like 1-2 years ago…which is well after the games release. That’s how I got my Elite Officer armor and special Recon Helmet in Reach as well as some pretty neat collectable stuff like Halsey’s journal.
If you want the Officer Elite, I would game share with some one who has the armor.

Are you inferring to license transferring? If so, that violates LIVE Code of Conduct and you can be banned from Xbox LIVE for that, not to mention in doing so can also leave your Xbox LIVE account vulnerable if you are the one transferring the content to somebody else.
Basically the person who is license transferring is allowing the other person access to ‘premium’ content that they did not pay for, essentially stealing if you will, which is what makes license transferring wrong if it is utilized that way.

This proves what I have been saying for both the Limited and Legendary Editions of Halo: Reach with Wal-Mart. They never get rid of what they cannot sell, it just sits in their electronics security room (Not limited to but including old near mint condition players guides for older games). The only way they will actively get it for you from there is if you have a digital device that shows an onhand for it at the store and it is not out on the floor. Otherwise it is iffy with the employee and they will likely state only what is on the salesfloor is what they have.
So, once again, if you want the Legendary Armor effect or the Elite Officer Armor, check your local Wal-Mart online to see if they have an onhand count for either edition, and if they do and you want it, take your digital device with, and have them get it for you from their security room.

Yea, this was like two years ago when I worked there. I was getting ready to leave after working one morning and decided to take a pass of the video games and they had a couple of copies of the Limited Edition of Halo: Reach in the case for like 40-60 bucks. Even though I already had the basic copy of Reach, I am a sucker for special/collector’s/limited editions if I can get them so I snatched it up.
<p></p>I don’t play reach as much as I used to but I’m still considering on buying legendary editions for it still brand new un opened as some still remain
