(Elite Ops will show us about what is happening to the elites after Halo 3 and their role in the Halo universe)
Elite Ops- Play missions as the Arbiter and Heretic elites as you battle for control of the collapsing Sanghelios political and military might. You get to play as the 2 factions of elites, so 2 different small stories that collide into 1 large story. Enemies will be
enemy elites, grunts, and brutes.
Maps (vague idea):
Sanghelious- Elite Homeworld
shipmaster- Elite capitl ship
Salvation- Elite monistary (Keep)
New Gamemode: execution (Kill the Kaiden)
Mission is like invasion. Your objective is to protect and escort your leader to safety while the enemy tried to kill him.
I like the whole ‘elite ops’ thing. Since the covenant are baddies again, if we did have all your ideas implemented, we’d have the awesome Halo 2 feeling of being the Arbiter again. Good post gent.
> That would be a rather expensive DLC, I mean, you are essentially doubling the size of the game.
Yeah I know but sadly I think DLC is the only way Elites are gonna be in halo 4.
But I think some of this stuff will be worth it.
Elite Ops essentially begins right after Halo 3 and shows how the elites are fighting for power and forces loyal to the arbiter battle “Heretic Elites”. There will be 2 main characters, the Arbiter and a Heretic Elite and you get thier perspectives of humans, the Halo rings, and the future of the Shanghelli race.
The idea is the 2 separate stories will collide in a big finale.
The 3 maps are related to elite culture and important places.
The skins are skins related to Elite ops and Halo lore.
Kaidon execution is a mode trying to kill a Elite Clan leader while the other team trys to protect the player.

The thing is not all Elites are bad, some elites are 100% fine with being allies with Humanity. The Elite Ops is trying to show how the elites feel from the fall out of the war and how to balance of power effects the Halo universe while Chief is getting ready to wake up.
I do think playing as the Arbiter will be cool and seeing the perspective of the Elites is something Halo really needs to expand on.

You might need to read a couple of the halo books. Specifically glasslands. The arbiter IS in control, other elites are rebelling against him because he wants peace with the humans, while the other sanghelli do not.
But other than that I do like the idea of an “elite ops” mode. Would be pretty fn.
Not something I would even consider paying for. I was never a fan of the old Space Dinosaurs. Honestly, the whole Halo story is pretty cheesy. It’s the MP that keeps me sticking around and it does better with Spartans only in my opinion. I don’t get the appeal of Elite stuff.
I would totally buy it. I loved playing as elites, like the levels from halo 2. And i have always been interested in the Sanghelis and Sanghelios. To see their world come to life in one of the games would be an absolute dream come true.

Actually, no one is in control of Sanghilios, it’s all split into factions. The Arbiter just has a lot of influence due to his status during the war. His “Peace with Humans” is very unpopular with the rest of Sanghilios. That’s why there was a lot of Keeps and Kaidons being attacked throughout the book.
