'Nuff said, has anyone bought and used the Elite controller to use for this game? Can you tell me if it was worth it and your reasons why?
Yes… lol button mapping. Use paddles for thruster and jump and your fingers barely move.
I bought one.
Reason? - wanted the paddles and Scuf controllers aren’t easily purchased in my country…
Worth It? - Haven’t decided, but I do really like using the paddles (bumper jumper - thrust left paddle, sprint right paddle)
Yes!

omg im so jealous. i desperately want a controller with paddles. I use the bumper jumper and having to take my thumb off the analog stick to use thrust and sprint is a major handicap. only, i can’t justify the purchase right now. it’s just too expensive. I can’t even justify buying a regular controller sadly. finances are tight.

yeah that sucks definitely.
If you have the means. I highly recommend it.
It is definitely worth it.
Right now I am on the fence. If it comes down in price, then for sure.
Buying an expensive controller to what? Decently up your playing style? I don’t own it, so I wouldn’t know how it works. But I find my normal Xbox One controller to work quite well while I play Halo 5.
Yes, thumb stick swap outs. Higher quality button compression, great parts manufacturing and quality. Everything is just better. Do I play better/ My accuracy has definitely increased and I can make the sneaky jump on Plaza much easier now.
2 cents.
I use crouch, jump, thrust and switch weapon on deafult

On default button layout, or the default controller?
A friend that has gone to one swears by it. I’ve yet to jump on the bandwagon. Need to convince the lady that it’s totally cool to pick up.
There are no elites in Multiplayer, so i don’t think your controller would work. Jokes aside, Yes a lot of pro players use elite controllers
I have one and I bought it just to be able to make crouch jumps. I use the default button layout and I have one paddle as crouch and the other as weapon switch. I previously would use crouch/boost as my paddles, but the Y button is further to touch for me then the boost button. I think 4 paddles is too hard to get used to right off the start and the paddles are easily pressed in so sometimes I find that my legs are hitting the back button for me in menus when i set my controller down. The metal parts like the stick are well worth it. They will not grind down like the plastic buttons. It just feels very tough.

I have bought it 2 weeks ago and my experience and also my game improve a lot from it!
It is really reacctive, a lot more than the default controller, and it is also a lot comfortable
Notice that it is a little bit heavy, but after the first 3 hours you will not notice that
I believe strongly in investing in your hobby. Playing video games in general is a fun hobby I love it I spend 40-50 hours a week playing games (no not just halo but multiple games). I bought the control because I needed to have a quicker response time and trigger stops for a faster single fire rate… And without breaking the bank I got everything I needed with this control. You see the conventional way of getting no vibration in the controller, trigger stops, and 4 additional paddles was to go to scuf. No I have nothing against scut they have great products… But they charge for every little thing. I estimated a controller like the elite with out all the bells and whistles would cost around 350-400 US dollars and that’s not getting fancy colors either. Long story short for 150.00 it’s worth it in my eyes
I got one just because of the quality. Great controller. I changed one thumbstick and dont even use the paddles. Best controller ive ever had.
