I finally was able to get my hands on one of these, was wondering what buttons people use for the triggers. My current control setup is Bumper Jumper.

With Bumper Jumper…I’m thinking the thrust is X and the beat down is B? If so, I’d map them to that. I don’t use all 4 paddles on mine but I completely changed my setup from Bumper Jumper to Fishstick with the 2 paddles mapped to A (Jump) and B (Crouch). I like my zoom on left trigger.

are you a crouch walker?
OP- I use Bumper jumper and mapped thrust, and beatdown to the paddles. It took a while to get used to but i really enjoy it now.
I can’t wait until mine comes in! You’re a lucky man.
I’ve always played “Recon”. Having “A” (jump) on left bottom paddle and “B” (melee) on right bottom paddle. But Scuf controllers have been the biggest waste of money for me. They worked great for the first few games, then I started noticing inoperable buttons during intense firefights. As if the trigger stopped working for the last few shots because no animation happened.

No, I like it for jumps and crouching mid strafe. Feels more comfortable than crouching with the stick.
I use Halo 4 as my button map. This way I can use A and B, for jump and crouch, with my extra paddles; so now my right thumb never has to leave the joystick.
Its pretty great!
soo I’m in the club…got mine today. this thing looks and feels awesome.
but 2 questions :
can you buy stuff like paddles and sticks separate ? because I’d would rather have 4 kinked paddles
where do you put your controller when you take a break?
with the paddles attached when i put it down it just hit the buttons thats dangerous for example in forge.
but this controller is really awesome feels great love the weight (i always had the keypad attached to my 360 pad just to make it a bit more heavy )

Double tap the link button to disable the paddles, double tap again to turn the back on.
ahh thanks for the hint
and what sticks are you using? longer one on the right for better aiming?
Ahh, i was not going to buy one of these. I thought “it doesnt matter how cool it is, $150 for a controller is too much.”
Then I held one in my hands for about 5 minutes and totally changed my mind… Now i just need to save the money and come up with a controller configuration (i think i’ll start with 2 paddles) that i want.
decisions decisions…
i use green thumb, since i like having melee on the right thumb stick and run being on the left stick, but obviously with that set up jump was A so i was sacrifcing a shot or two if i tried jumping during a gun fight. IM currently only using two paddles one for jjump the other for crouching. havent decided if i want to use the other two yet though, since it would be weapon change and reload, which reloading is automatically if you run out and i never just load in the open anyways

Yes you can buy more paddles, joysticks, etc. I think they are pricey though.
what about the sticks layouts?
which one is helpful for better/faster/smoother aiming?
or just which one do you use?
atm I’m just scratching the surface of this thing pfff so many options #)
I have a thread about this actually where others have shown their input
Either way I do play bumper jumper so heres my layout.
Hairline triggers on both
TR paddle b
BR paddle a
TL paddle y
BR Paddle x
Defalt left stick
Extended right stick
Sensitivity 3
2 acceleration
0 deadzones.
When putting it down and not wanting the paddles hit just double tap the sync button on the top of the controller and it disables them. Repeat to turn back on.
