You can choose default, delay, aggressive, instant, or smooth. I was wondering what the best one would be for halo? Or at least what the difference is.
Frankly I have no idea what those settings mean, as I don’t have one of those controllers but I’d just suggest you try them all out and decide what one you like the most for yourself.
It’s basically tweakable acceleration like what they added into the game. Aggressive is faster than normal acceleration, Instant is pretty much tap it and it registers and a complete on the edge joystick tug, and smooth is no acceleration at all, it just glides the same speed until it hits the edge.
You can select each one and see how it reacts within the in app diagram by moving your stick around.

Smooth is by far the best. It makes the stick movement to input ratio 1:1 and single-handedly fixes the crappy aiming in this game.

agreed. I’ve only had mine a couple of days but the smooth option seems to respond the best. I also reset all of the controller options inside the halo 5 setting to default and it made it even better compared to what I had for my regular controller. I’m pretty sure the defaults for this game were made using the elite- or at least it feels that way.
I play smooth and if u guys go to the actual settings in the game for controller you can change the horizontal and vertical speeds individually
I use Smooth because when playing this game you have to be really good at getting those headshots and Smooth makes moving the directional sticks much more precise.
