Ok so for about 6 out of the 8 seasons of Halo MCC has been for Halo three…and my lord yes I get it it’s popular but Halo reach is too! But all we get are a few helmets and that’s it! It would be nice to actually have full armor for reach as your Spartan is in the campaign and it would be nice to see something new, Halo 2a would be nice also as that’s kinda that started off MCC and that needs some love.
Now for myself I love the elites! I play them whenever I can! And we got a season for us, but unfortunately yet again it was mostly Spartan content with a few elite ones, I was Hoping for Halo reach elites!! And Halo 2a but as it seems 343i has some grudge on elites for some reason
It would be cool to have some nice elite armors like the harnor guard armor or hell I’ve that is a popular one the arbitor!!! And go crazy with the armor too for the elites a forrunner themed set for reach and 2a or one that’s a mix of two armors and I’ve that I kinda would love is customize the reach armors by part instead of the whole set, get a few helmets to have visors be used too! And sorry to say this but Halo 3 content can kiss my elite -Yoink!- as it’s got plenty of ugly to badass armors, 343i there are 4 other Halo games on MCC that we play it’s not all Halo 3! My god the other games or hell just Halo 2a or reach alone would be nice! Spend the few seasons one elites and nothing on Halo 3
Thx have a good one sorry for the rant and poor grammar lol

As much as I’d like more attention to the other games, especially in regards to elites (even in Halo 3), they don’t plan on making any more seasons, so what else we do get will be in less vast quantities.

Sadly yea, one can only hope they’ll do the 10seasobs they advertised until infinite came by lol
Barring Season 8 (which divided a TON of people in 3 and Reach), most of the Halo 3 content was already made in the Halo 3 Mythic/ODST engine to begin with, from Maps, to Armor, to Weapons. the other titles have received a few bits and bobs here and there, some restored content, some new content, but ultimately none of them had the raw pool of content to pull from that 3 did, nor do they have the same stable engine that did not have to account for Campaign Scripting.
I do still hope they get around to releasing all the content that was planned for H2A (it had a ton of stuff lurking in the files), but Halo 3 still has more that can and should be done with it to make up for both a lack of a PC port and an Anniversary edition, ODST too.

Having done some research about it, they originally planned to do 10 seasons by the end of 2021, but they ran out of time which is why Season 8 was the final season, but not the final season of MCC, just the final season of the year 2021.
I’m pretty sure we will see more seasons in 2022, just that there will be longer breaks in-between them. In my opinion it just doesn’t make sense for season 8 to be the last Season MCC will ever get, there’s so much more cool content to be added, H2 customizations, Reach needs weapon and vehicle skins, and also they were supposed to add stances to H:CE, on top of that we should be getting plenty more exchange items.

They’re moving away from the Seasonal realease model, but not from updating MCC. This was covered in an article last year:

I see,
"we’re targeting pivoting away from our current seasonal model and cadence to instead focus on smaller MCC updates that can land when they’re ready based on development status and studio roadmap alignment. These updates will continue to be free and will include the unreleased features and content from this year – as well as a continued effort to improve stability and tackle legacy fixes where possible. We still have a lot of goodness to deliver in 2022. "
I wonder what exactly they have in mind with this, the exchange is way too limited with what it can offer at a time to cover something like adding a bunch of weapon skins to h2/h2a, so maybe since we still have the “Seasonal” Challenges tab, we will see new seasonal challenges at much bigger quantities with a lot more stuff locked behind them. I feel like 2022 is going to be a really important year for seeing if mcc still gets some proper love after infinite’s release.
