"Eliminate the enemy--!"

What’s up with the announcer? When you play Slayer, he says “Eliminate the enemy–”.
He doesn’t say “team” anymore.

you sure?, I played today and he said eliminate the enemy team…

Here, in the streets, in competition: A man confronts you, he is the enemy. An enemy deserves no mercy.

I’ll get a vid up on my fileshare.

What would Mr Rodgers say? He would tell you that you are special, and you know what you really are. Since you are special and we all love you that means you are allowed to play as an individual. Individuals say I and since there is no I in team Mr Rodgers would not want you to use teamwork in his Neighborhood of Make Believe.

So when your knee deep in the blood of your enemies be sure to think only about yourself. Mr Rodgers would not want you to eliminate a team, he would only want you to kill all the -Yoinks!- who don’t realize that you are a unique and beautiful snowflake. This is why.

Here is one.

“Eliminate the enemy–!”

I liked it better when he just said “Slayer”

> I liked it better when he just said “Slayer”

Same here. It was better when the announcer didn’t talk as much like in Halo 2/3 and Reach

I don’t mind the more verbose announcer. He is an announcer after all.

> I don’t mind the more verbose announcer. He is an announcer after all.

I know it’s his purpose to announce and all, but it just seems overdone sometimes imo. Half of the medals I earn are called out by the announcer.

Headcase, does he really have to announce that worthless medal?

Anybody get a chance to view the video yet?
