alright so i did this topic a while back for Reach and i thought it was a good idea so i decided to make it a topic for Halo 4. Hopefully people will read this and like it.
How many of you want elevators in custom games? Or maybe even a multiplayer level?
this won’t replace grav lifts though, it’s just another cool way of doing things.
If you suggest ideas I will put them in this post!
If Bungie were to implant this we’d like to see
-Overall time the doors open/close
-The length of the actual elevator pieces that we stand on
-Speed
-Height
-Shape (simple platform like in Ivory Tower, small room with 1 door, small room with 2 doors, glassed in elevator, laser door elevator, bubble shielded elevator)
-Custom Elevator Music with Volume change (Halo themes, marathon themes, etc)
-A covenant version
-The time the elevator takes to get from the top to the bottom (such as 5 secs to 120 secs)
-Destroyable Elevators (but with a settable respawn time of course)
-Elevators with a settable time of stopping/moving (10 second intervals)
-The ability for a player to get under the elevator once it’s suspended but will be crushed once it comes back down.
