The IUPAC is currently considering recognizing and naming the element 117. I would like all fellow gamers to join me in petitioning their facebook to name the element after Master Chief. Here are the details:
The element is heavy. It has been missing from the periodic table for a while. No proposed name is published.
My idea: MASTERCHIEFIUM

I vote just “Spartan 117” for the name. Funny we already have Promethium 61 “Pm” and Nobelium 102 “No”.
Side note some Aussie science equipment was used to confirm the new 117 element, go Aussies

I thought they’ve gotten to 118, along with some trials for 119, 120, and 127.
They haven’t been named, but i thought they were already discovered.
Why not name it Haloium for simplicity’s sake?

Sparta was a large pioneer in the science department, so it would be nice to name it after them; not to mention that the Romans based much of their culture on Sparta, and we all know that they’re the gods of engineering.
