Either I’m really good at sniping, or the auto-aim in this game is way too high and/or the head hitboxes are too big. I expected sniping to be more difficult since the movement speed is more akin to Halo 3 than Reach (which also had massive skull-hitboxes), but I’m pulling off sniper headshots like they’re nothing and it feels like my aiming reticle is magnetically attracted to my opponent’s faces. And don’t even get me started on the Beam Rifle…

But anyways, what do you guys think? Are you noticing this massive auto-aim as well?

I have noticed, but its only been killing me, when I’m shooting and someone sprints past me and it gets thrown off my original target!

Sniping is incredibly easy now, and the fact that you don’t get knocked out of scope anymore makes it even easier.

I’m just a great sniper, and I honestly don’t see the aim assists helping me much.

I find that sniping in Reach and Halo 2 is much easier than in Halo 4. It seems about on par with Halo 3, but maybe that’s just me.

i havent gotten the sniper enough to really form an opinion, but i did get ten kills with one earlier today.

It could just be that I’ve improved since Halo 3 so it feels easier when it really isn’t… Not sure.

Feels like H3 sniping to me.

Reach’s was way easier.

I feel It easier than Halo 3, just like Reach…
