So I remember tons of these things happening back in the day, but I really think they are underrepresented in the community now. Not trick jumping videos, per se, but videos about tactical map movement aspects that help improve performance. I think there are plenty of topics that could help people, from weapon breakdowns and daily updates on news regarding changes to the games, etc. When Infinite comes out, these types of things will be all over the place, which is nice. Halo 5 manipulated so much with the spartan charge abilities and scrambling, etc. Halo 3 was the last game in the series where tactical jumps were really relevant, since jetpacks and thrusters etc. came out in subsequent games, and sprint impacted a lot. Halo 3 is still one of the most popular halos, and I’m surprised often by how many new and inexperienced players I encounter in matchmaking.
So what sort of educational content could help people the most? I’m not talking about those old MLG Fraggin Like a Pro things, I mean actual practical information.
