Its ok I don’t mean like CoD, I mean like change the look of weapons in forge. Here are my ideas:
Change the Appliance of Weapons
In Halo 3: ODST you had the suppressed SMG and pistol. What if you had the ability to change between a normal SMG to one with a supressor. I don’t mean this in game I mean on Forge when making a map, so the map maker can decide what is next. I have more examples as well, being able to decide if the pistol can have a sight or not. The rocket launcher can lock onto vehicles, only air vehicles or none at all. They are only some of the examples. This could change gameplay to anything the forger wants and make the game play better if default weapons are not good enough for the forger.
Changing the look of Weapons
This is mainly to make the map look prettier, but you could decide what colour (I mean like the energy sword off the Headhunter series), a design on the weapon or make them look like the ones off different Halos but still have the same damage and gameplay is not changed in any way.
Lastly, changing what the weapons fire
I don’t mean making a pistol fire rocket launcher ammo, I mean like the luv woo skull on Halo Wars. Again just for the lolz but I mean making Fuel Rod fire Blue plasma instead of green plasma.
The last two are not needed and I don’t expect in game since it would probably be a waste of time, but everyone can agree with me would be fun. But the first one is something that can modify gameplay and mean the game would be way more versatile and more people would play since they could just return to the same gameplay of older Halos or even make completely new gameplay which could be amazing and could be new ideas into Halo 5 gameplay.
Just something I thought about.
Also vehicles should have a decision for no guns on them so like a gametype where you can only boost and not shoot your weapon.
