343 removed the feature to do that because
" they want our armour to be more diverse " they say that by mix and matching armour sets that we wouldnt be able to tell what anyone is actually wearing. "

Because, sorry for my “unconstructive post”, but 343 is lazy and frankly is giving up on adding more to Halo 5. I wish they could add more customization, like Reach, they could, but they won’t.

Sure why not customisation is king
They won’t add full armor customisation in Halo 5. Looks like we’re better off advocating this for Halo 6.
I’m also hoping emblem customisation system from Halo 3, Reach, 4 & MCC returns for Halo 6.

Really? I can tell what armor people are wearing from the other side of the map. Who even cares tbh. Long as you look cool and your armor is your own. If you really want to know what others are wearing you can message them…
