I just want to say, good job on these two. I like Empire, it felt like a Halo 4 map. I like Truth; I know that it’s a remake of a Halo 2 map, but it felt very Halo 5, or perhaps Reach.
I love Eden and Regret. Regret feels like a Halo 2 map brought two console generations into the future (a lot like Halo 5 so far feels like Halo 2 brought two console generations into the future). Eden feels like a Reach map that I would have really enjoyed, or maybe even like a map that would have been made if ODST had had its own multiplayer.

Empire and Truth feel like spaces. Empire is some random civilian space, while Truth (opening cinematic aside) is some random Covenant ship space. Eden has a cooler setting IMO than Empire, and has story–why are we fighting in the dark and rain (not to mention all the little random spaces to clamber onto). Regret has history, which makes it the best I’ve encountered yet–why did this ship crash here? How long has it been here to become overgrown with vines? etc etc. It’s the same reason that Relic is my favorite H2 map (that and the epic 1v1 power weapon duels with my sister).
I guess what I’m saying is that I like the aesthetic and story ideas of these two. I can’t speak to the map design, as I only played a few games on them last night.

I agree about the aesthetic and story ideas being better in Regret/Eden, I just think Regret plays like poop in its current form (4v4 BR starts with radar) and Eden suffers a lot from blue team being invisible - it’s no fun to be on red team on that map.

I can see disliking Radar on Regret, and that’s a fact about Eden.

Got to play Regret more before I make a judgement on it, seems abit too bright at times but it looks like it does have potential, I like how top mid is now an area you can fight in now rather than an area to pick up sword every two minutes because top mid on Truth is so large.
I’ve played enough on Eden and I don’t like it to be honest, doesn’t have any map flow to me and it’s so dark it gives a pretty good advantage to Blue Team, could use some of that light from Regret.
