EDDIE'S SIMPLE VEHICLE TIPS- ISSUE 1

GHOST

Often an overlooked vehicle, the ghost can be extremely beast and very helpful for your team if used correctly

-DON’T ALWAYS GO FOR SPLATTERS!
-If you see more than two enemy players get the heck outta there, ALWAYS! A ghost can be quickly destroyed by DMR fire.
-If you get EMP’d and the enemy player is quite far, wait out the stun then resume firing. If you have the wheelman perk you can wait out the stun when the enemy is at closer ranges. OTHERWISE, hop out always! Often enemy players will not be expecting this.
-If you play with a mic, the ghost can be a very effective scout vehicle, call out to your teammates where the enemy is.
-If you see a faint red laser over your ghost, boost to any nearby cover and hope the guy misses! If you can see him you have the opportunity to judge if it may be feasible to simply hop out of your ghost in time.
-Snipers are also deadly, if you know one is around, DON’T GO OUT TO GREET HIM!
-Rockets are also deadly at close range, stay away from any areas where enemies are using them

  • Ghost on Ghost fights can be common. You always want to get the first bursts into your enemy. Strafing around can help, but BEWARE, too much strafing will mean some of your bullets will not hit the enemy ghost! If you have the first burst advantage minimise how much strafing you do. OTHERWISE get somewhere safe and hop out. Depending on the situation and where you hopped out, you may want to: board the enemy, EMP then board/sticky, or simply run away!
  • If you encounter a warthog that is not close to death or only has a driver, then run away to safety! This is especially true of the gauss and rocket hogs!
  • Don’t go anywhere near a scorpion, UNLESS he has not seen you or is distracted, THEN you may use the ghost to zoom in close for a sneaky boarding! This is always very risky, I never do it, but I have seen some people pull it off and they look so badass!
  • Beware good banshee pilots, the ghost is pretty much defenceless against them. It is best to just hop out and try to jump and EMP/Board them, or run for cover!
    -another good perk for the ghost besides wheelman, is the sensor as it allows you that little bit more situational awareness which is extremely important for using the ghost effectively.

So in summary, the ghost is a vehicle that has great potential, but you must be very careful and aware of the battlefield at all times. Pop in and out like a ninja, play to its strengths and you will PWN in this little monster!
