Echo 216's Pilot's Excitement Towards the Player

In Halo Infinite’s “Discover Hope” trailer, it’s revealed that humanity has lost a great war. When the pilot who discovers the Master Chief realizes that he’s alive, the height of his excitement is experienced via a first-person view through the Master Chief’s eyes. The pilot’s seemingly excited about the player’s reputation for saving the universe as opposed to the character they’ve used to do it, so he’s addressing them instead of that character.

Just a cute little detail I enjoy.

I think it just went to first person perspective because it’s an FPS game. Plus it provides the opportunity to incorporate the usual boot up sequence where you tilt your head up and down to look at a data pad, like in H3’s opening scene. It sounds like a cool detail, but that may be unintentional.
