Has anyone else used one of these yet? Just unlocked it last night. It’s the Ultra-Rare Hydra Launcher.

Yes. You can double zoom with it and it locks on pretty quickly. I love EMPing an enemy banshee while it’s over the edge of the map on Stormbreak and watching the player fall to this death lol.

Sounds like it’s screw with Banshee and Phaeton bosses a lot more than any other weapon as well

Nah ive never used one. But i did like the typhoon hydra.
I got one from the Daily warzone req a couple days ago. I haven’t used it since every time I call for something cool like that I get gang banged immediately and lose my precious cards.
I’ve only got the one in my inventory, but chances are I’ll be equipping it at some point this evening!

In my time using the Echidna, I would much rather just use Voids Tear, Echidna doesn’t seem to do as much damage to vehicles as VT does.
Is it named “echidna” because, like hydras, echidnas have six heads?

I think it might actually be a bean, ya know like echidna bean?
But seriously though, Echidna is from Greek mythology (meaning “She-Viper”). The creature was half woman, half snake…and get this, was the mate of the monster, Typhoon. I didn’t know that till now as I had only thought Echidna was a name of the “spiny-anteaters” lol. A bit off there.
On topic, I just got certified with Echidna this weekend, but haven’t had a chance to actually use it with this week being so busy. The Hydra is my #1 favorite weapon in Halo Arena (Railgun and DMR tied for second) and i’ve been waiting so long to complete the Hydra triage. So glad to see so many Hydra fans. From launch and even Beta everyone generally didn’t like the Hydra as the never learned “The Way Of The Hydra”
I got it once and used it in Stormbreak. I don’t think I really used it to its full potential, though I did manage to EMP an enemy Banshee which dropped right in front of the Warden 
Didn’t get credit for the kill, but it was pretty satisfying to watch him blow it up
Think I have one and used on Super Fiesta and loved it even though I suck with the Hydra.
