Hey all.

I just popped back from EB, hearing about the EB Expo for the first time. I was absolutely amazed to find out that Halo 4 is apparently playable at the EB Expo? I’ve never been to one before, but this year it’s being held in Sydney, which is fine for me, as I live there. I’m just still in disbelief because I think I might actually be able to play the game before it’s out? Sorry if my typing is a bit weird on grammar and all, I’m still nerding out.

So, my question is, has anyone else heard about this? The guy at EB told me that it will be playable. I’m not doubting his word, but I’m just so excited, and I would be SO CRUSHED IF IT TURNED OUT TO BE WRONG. Any EB employees out there? Has anyone else here been to the EB Expo last year? Apparently other games were playable before they were out, like Battlefield or Cod, etc.

If I could get a message from 343 on this matter, I will faint from happiness, (If Halo 4 turned out to be playable for us mortals).

No, halo 4 is only playable at EXCLUSIVE events, like RTX, E3 etc. I doubt 343 will come all the way here in aus to let us play halo 4. But thats just my logic.

so far they haven’t announced exactly what games exhibitions there will be. But they have announced some of the game developers that will be presenting and 343i wasn’t one of them. But I still have hope, if halo 4 is going to be in the eb expo I’m definitely going. but chances are, halo 4 wont be there so when the eb expo is on i’ll be home and alone on xbl playing through halo cea’s campaign.

Does anyone know if games were playable before their release date at last years Expo?

Yeah, I doubt we’ll actually get to play, but it’s always good to hope. The EB dude seemed pretty sure.

Even though 343 isn’t there, Xbox 360/Microsoft is there, and since 343 is part of Microsoft… than MAYBE!
