What’s up all. Is it possible to complete legendary solo just by playing from the final rally points. Has anyone else received the lone wolf achievement this way? I did Infinity from rally point Charlie and my campaign completion says completed legendary solo. Just a theory. Thanks all.
I suppose it would be possible. Bungie actually made a point to not let people do this, but of course this being the first Halo which 343 has done on their own, I can see them missing the line of code which Bungie had to prevent this.

I would like to put this to the test. Anyone with 1 mission left want to give it a try? Not that I’m lazy, but some of the missions are just too damn long without the ability to skip cutscenes and button pushes.

Your friend, assuming this did work, will still show no completion of Legendary on his online service record, so it’s not like we can’t tell he’s lying about legitimately unlocking the achievement.

You can check mine to verify. Infinity is the only one I completed using this method. My stats say completed solo. Check out the time.
Update. It works. You can finish legendary solo by starting from the last rally points on each level. I just got my lone wolf achievement this way. I think I’m the first to discover this. Enjoy.
I got past all the levels pretty fast, but the last two missions (Composer and Midnight) are giving me a hard time.
Can we even get in trouble for using this glitch?

Oh, I misunderstood your post, sorry. I thought you meant he only did the final mission from the final rally point. I didn’t know he still had done all the other missions.
Well in this case, yes, you can get away with it, now to find out if it counts for Solo Legendary weekly challenges.

I should rephrase that. It’s not a glitch more missing code. Bungie made their games so you couldn’t get credit for the mission just by starting on the final rally points. I guess 343 left it out. I just tested my theory, and I got it.

I did it the normal way the first time. Infinity drove me nuts.
I just got my achieve told friends about it, they got it too
Or just play the game, this is the easiest Legendary ever lmao

Not really a worthwhile way to get achievement. Achievements are about the achieving part and if you didnt do it then you really didnt earn it. It reminds me of the people who cheat in other games to get ranks. Yes you have the rank but you know you didnt get it so why should you care.
