Easy Anti Cheat not running.

Hello, I opened Halo mcc today with a faster than normal open, but once I opened the game and tried to play multiplayer, I had found that easy anticheat was not on. When I tried to open the game through steam, it did not give me the option between having easy anticheat on or off. When I verified integrity of game files, it did not change this. May I ask what the solution to this issue is?

I have a friend who is having the exact same issue. I had him re install the anti cheat several times… Now he is re installing MCC all together to try that. ANY answers would be appreciated!!!

im having that issue as well

Samesies. Verified files on steam. Uninstalled and reinstalled the game. No dice. Any help would be appreciated.

I’m having the exact same issue. I get the “Anti-Cheat Incident” error if I try to enter multiplayer. I’ve followed a few different tips, but I’ve had no luck. Here’s what I’ve tried so far:

  • Reparing/uninstalling and reinstalling the anti-cheat via game files - Verifying integrity of game files via steam - Uninstalling and Reinstalling the entire gameI’ve also done each with rebooting my PC, with no luck. Hopefully there is some kind of fix soon

Lovely, my friend is currently re installing the whole game. But per your information, doubtful it will work.

343 WE NEED YOU HERE!

Ok, according to a friend who does modding and has contact with an important member on the mcc team, someone at 343 “pushed a change to the test branch and accidentally pushed it to retail”.

It was a mistake some 343 employee made, and it was solved very quickly. I don’t know why you’re still looking at this.
