Easy Anti Cheat Not Installed?

Hello Forums,
Yesterday I tried to play MCC on my PC just to because I had some downtime. When it started to load, it was cut short by a message telling me Easy Anti Cheat wasn’t installed. I thought that was pretty strange since I haven’t moved my files around, nor have I deleted anything related to the game ever. I’m just wondering if this was an issue others were having or not with the ODST update having came out or if my computer / Steam is just stupid. If anyone could help, that would be great! My next step would to be just uninstall end redownload the whole thing again.

Go to local disc c-> program files x86-> easy anti cheat->easy anti cheat.exe->select halo:the master chief collection->install easy anti cheat-> finish
