Easy Anti Cheat has stopped working. Fatal crash on startup

So i was launching Halo MCC up for the first time in about 3 months.
But after this December 9th update as soon as i launch the game, it crashes and gives me the following error message:

Ive tried reinstalling the EAC service manually with the executable in the game folder, but there arose 2 more problems.

  1. It didnt detect my game as “Halo The Master Chief Collection”, but rather as “Current (Game 426)”
  2. It didnt do anything (all files stayed the same)

Ive checked for file integrity, as well, but Steam wasnt able to find any violations.
Also deleted the Steam appcache, but that didnt do it too.
Ive also went ahead and reinstalled the whole game, yet it still doesnt work.

When i start MCC in “Anti Cheat disabled” mode, it works just fine for me, so i figured it must have something to do with EasyAntiCheat.

Does anyone know what i can do?

Based on the screenshot try downloading the newest visual C++ redistributable from the microsoft website.

I already have the latest.
To be sure i reinstalled them, but it still doesnt work

To be clear, your bulleted points of 1/2 are the same for everyone. That’s not unique to you and are not problems.

I’m not sure what the cause of your issue since its an unhandled exception error.
