Everyone remember the opening cutscene in H2A with Locke and the ARBY!!! But did anyone notice that the BR Locke is using is the H2 BR. Is this because the Beta had not come out and SmartScope had not been confirmed, or is the old BR a legendary weapon? Also there are plasma rifles held by the elites so are those confirmed in Halo 5?

Well that was a cutscene made for H2A, so it used H2A’s CG assets. But the looks of Arbiter’s Elites are very interesting.
Also the Arbiter sword is the regular energy sword not the Prophets bane. Once again, because the Beta or is the Arbiter just changing it up?

Most likely because they simply used the already existing assets instead of creating new ones.
Blur didn’t want to have to make new models for the CG based off the H5 models that 343 had probably only just finished the concepts of in the first place. So they used what they already had. I don’t think any of it can be inferred to be in Halo 5 besides the stuff that wasn’t featured in any other H2A cutscenes, like the Arbiter and his mates’ armour.

I think the Halo 4 BR looked the best. H2A looks really good though. I don’t like the Halo 5 redesign very much.
