Ive started playing with my headphones and after I played a game of warzone on Escape from A.R.C. I was just taking a break in the warzone lobby when I heard some woman’s voice in the game lobby.
It may not be an Easter egg if some sort but I’ve never heard it. The “announcer” is not the standard voice for warzone either, it’s a series of messages telling the workers at A.R.C. to evacuate, pump status offline, electrical failure, tay away from sitting bodies of water, (some company I couldn’t understand the name of) is not responsible for loss of life of employees, etc.
Long and drawn out I know, but check it out, pretty interesting.
That’s not really an easter egg, technically speaking even though you’re in the lobby you’re character acts as if they’re still on that warzone map, so maps affects carry out till the next match.
The PA from Escape from A.R.C is one example, another is the lighting effect you see after a game on Attack on Sanctum, your character appears as if under sunlight.
And I believe some of these map affects like the lighting is carried over from Arena maps, and I believe Eden or Empire are ones.
I haven’t heard about this before, I’m not entirely sure it’s an Easter Egg but it’s still cool that you found it!

It seems more likely a bug.
Nah just left over game effects, maybe it is a bug.
I’d say its more of a map effect rather than easter egg, but its still cool.
This happened to me once, and I wasn’t wearing headphones. Like others above have said, it’s a map effect that stayed longer than it should have.

I’ve heard this many times. My guess is this is placed there as part of the way we get immersed in the game. If you listen carefully, there are also other announcements being said during the time between rounds. They have been there for a long time, but not very frequent.

Happens on Arena maps with filters too, my Spartan always looks brighter after playing on Deadlock.
Thanks for the replies guys! Makes sense, I see that lingering lighting effect all the time.
