So I’m a huge fan of Easter Eggs in Halo. I love to spend time finding little treats in the game like the Singing Grunt, the Snowman on Stasis, and some neat tributes. Having said that, I would like to offer some ideas for Easter Eggs in Halo 6
Cloned Sergeant Johnsons
This is a little nod to Halo speedrunners. In Halo 2, in order to make the fight with Tartarus much easier and faster on Legendary, runners would bring a Spectre into the final fight and have Johnson board it. Because the game read Johnson as missing, it just spawns another Johnson, and runners would often have 3-4 Johnsons to fight Tartarus.
So my idea on the Easter Egg is to have a room in some secret area, like ONI or something, where the 3-4 Johnsons reside. Once the player meets the Johnsons, they tell the player how Johnson got cloned. Then, they proceed to claim that one of them is the original and then argue over who is the real Johnson.
I really think this Easter Egg would be fantastic towards players who love Johnson and towards the speedrunning community.
Grunts worshiping a nipple
We all remember how much Grunts talked about their beloved food nipple. Let’s take it further and have some Grunts praying to a giant food nipple while chanting “Great nipple, protect us!”
