Ok, I suck at getting perfect kills. What gamemode do I have to grind away at to maximize my chances at getting 3 perfects?

Just use a BR and a controller
I think headshots with Shock Rifle are also perfect medals iirc

I got two in a single BTB match with the Battle Rifle, but now I can’t seem to get any at all. I swear I’m landing all my shots, plenty of people running in lines, yet none of them are triggering the last “Perfect” metal with the Battle Rifle.

I’m actually worse with Controller lol.

I can’t seem to get perfects on mouse either, but it’s not bad on Controller if I don’t aim and just strafe, it gets them with aim assist

I play ranked for those since you start with a BR.

Someone in another form mentioned that a single shock rifle headshot registers on this challenge, guess I’ll give it a shot.

Hearing Stalker Rifle works as well. Funny how neither of these are Kinetic Weapons but whatever.

Update:
I can confirm a shock rifle headshot counts! Woohoo!

Yeah without the shock rifle no-scope I wouldn’t have been able to complete that challenge over the whole week.

Yeah, why doesn’t the challenge just say “Get ‘perfect’ medals”? No need to be fancy.

It also says “kinetic” when both the Stalker and Shock rifles count while the pistol doesn’t seem to. So they really just need to fix the whole description to make it accurate and clear.

I would double down and suggest this plan of attack as well since you start with a precision weapon and do not have to search for one.
You do start with a pistol, but those are challenging as they are close range weapons.

Play ranked or BR slayer. A shock rifle spawns on recharge above the pistons. Usually you can sneak up on some one tryin to take B base in strongholds.

Use a shock rifle, 1 headshot on an undamaged foe will earn you a perfect.

Stalker rifle is pretty good.

Mangler can get one in 3 head shots.

EDIT: And if all else fails, farm some AFKers

Literally just play Fiesta where you are bound to just spawn with a shock rifle, or run into someone who has.
