I’m currently on the grind to finish all my weapon commendations. Does anybody know an easy way to finish the spartan laser kills? Im guessing warzone and just pick people off and kill vehicles?
Yup warzone, best to be in a fireteam and not play with randoms to have better results
If you don’t want to play Warzone, Big Team Battle’s your best shot. Three maps (Deadlock, Guilitueen and Recurve) have the Laser on them, and all have a good assortment of Laser-able vehicles. Aim for the Banshee and Warthogs, they’re the biggest targets.
If you get a CTF match your REALLY in luck. Try and grab the laser and pull it back to your base, wait til the enemy loads up a hog with your flat…TRIPLE KILL.

Yup… I shot a guy directly in his body and only depleted his shields (probably his health too…), shouldn’t he be dead either way though?
Well in fiesta its just a matter of time till you get the hang of using it, i finished my laser kills in btb, you get the laser more often per game (if you fight for it) and the map is smaller which makes it easier spotting an enemy or enemyvehicle
Been on that same grind lately. Had a really good match tonight that bumped me up about 12 with one splaser req’d though.
I finished my weapons commendations and I found big team battle to be the best. Unless you got a bunch of laser reqs saved up for war zone.
I would suggest Fiesta. And they are useful if handled right. Yesterday i got a double kill with them so its not the weapon (altough i agree they should recieve a beefy buff)

do Fiesta, Warzone takes too long, you need Reqs, then manage to not die with it by something random, Fiesta is frustrating but the completion rate of the laser kills is a lot quicker, I maxed mine in Fiesta in a few days

Big team battle is how I did it. A bit of a grind. But I got better with it over time. Easy to catch a spartan napping if they are focused on someone while ADS.

CTF on recurve is THE game mode in BTB to really rack up your laser kills. I just sit and camp my flag waiting for wart hogs, ghosts, and gungoose’s to drive over for a flag pull.
Also a lot of ppl like to use the mounted turrets so can catch 1 or 2 not paying attention on the targeting laser before your fry’em.
Splasers are anti armor weapons so keep your ears open for the rolling thunder, because you’re going tank hunting.
