Easiest to Hardest Gamemode for Players

So I was skimming through my previous games in my Service Record. For those too lazy to check, I’m currently ranked Silver 5 in Breakout, my lowest rank, but Platinum 2 in Free-For-All Slayer, my highest rank. I recently played a game of Breakout where I went 9-0 and we literally sat on the enemy (The only rounds they won were flag captures).

One of the enemy, who was Silver 3 in Breakout and the only member on their team to break even, was actually Platinum 1 in SWAT (But as of right now, they have deranked to Gold 6). I’m absolute garbage at SWAT and only hold a Silver 6 ranking for this season. So this made me wonder: what is the easiest/hardest gamemode to do well in for the average player? This includes social playlists like Action Sack, Triple Team, and Warzone. Custom Games will not be included.

Lets say Joe McShootAlien is SR76, which comes with all the promotion packs, has been Bronze and Silver Pack grinding for REQs, indulged in a few Golds, has average internet, player skill, map knowledge, etc, and joins a random game with everyone else being near exact clones of his skill level and REQs, with varying differences in REQs and skill. Can anyone give a logical explanation to which gamemode he would do good in, and which gamemode he wouldn’t? Just curious :stuck_out_tongue:

Easiest is most likely the new Warzone Firefight variant’s for me personally, it’s alot less pressure and I feel like AI enemies can be more forgiving than other player’s online or maybe Super Fiesta, seeing as you can spawn with auto kill weapon’s saying that you can also get completely decimated on that playlist.
And hardest I’d probably go for SWAT because you’ve got no armour and headshots are one shot kills or Free For All, seeing as you’re on your own.

But I guess, it all goes down to personal preference and your own play style. But, I do think the WZFF play lists are the more forgiving game mode’s seeing as I usually use them as a warm up.

I’d probably agree with you for WZFF if not for the fact that our boy Joe here has mostly been getting Commons and Uncommons from his packs, with maybe a few good rares like Wasps and Scorpions. He won’t be much of a help against AI. In regular Warzone, he can use more infantry weapons like the Answer and even the BR to kill enemies. He doesn’t have that luxury in FF.

In fact, I’d probably say he’d be better at SWAT than WZFF, because of his average internet connection giving him a good tactical advantage over those who have worse connection than him, as well as fair map knowledge. But he wouldn’t be a god due to his average reactions and accuracy.

I didn’t take this into account. I was just speaking from personal experience!

Yeah, a person who has a lot more REQs (Like me, 33 Corp Scorpions whooooooooo spam spam everyday lol) would do better at WZFF. Joe wouldn’t be a detriment, he has the Wasp, he has the Scorpion, he has the Warthog. He just wouldn’t do great against bosses because of his lack of AA Wraith, Banshee Ultra, Hannibal Wasp etc.

You can’t de-rank from Platinum 1 to Gold 6

No, it’s entirely possible to drop between ranking tiers. Changed a few months ago. Been going back and forth between Gold 6 and Platinum 1 for my Arena playlists when I play.

But what do you guys think about the easiest and hardest gamemodes?
