What are the easiest missions on legendary in Halo 1-4?
In my experience, The Pillar of Autumn, Cairo Station, and Dawn are manageable. The cinematic ones are easy as well. I am stuck on Truth and Recon, Cairo Station (I found it easy but didn’t get to finish it because I had to do something. It may become impossible later on.), Sierra 117 (STINKIN’ JACKALS!), and Requiem. Is there any easy stuff that I have missed?

I find Halo in Halo 3 pretty enjoyable.
Halo 2 uprising. The fastest mission I ever completed on legendary. 5 minutes, tops.

I found Halo in Halo 3 super easy relative to other missions in the game (on easy difficulty).
The Maw on Halo CE is probably a different story. That room with the exhaust port thingies is almost impossible IMO. Also, the CE warthog accelerates like a brick and steers like a boat, but it is damn near indestructible.

Edit: A vaguely remember it now. I did play it during my 6 hour H2A stint, which all blurred into one painful experience (my eyes hurt for days). I remember the opening cutscene, but little else. Didn’t look too bad though…
