Easier to splatter teammates than enemies?

So, I’m not sure if anyone else has noticed, but is it harder to splatter enemies now? I’ve gone full speed into an enemy and not gotten a splatter, but when I’ve turned sideways in a ghost, I’ll betray a teammate.

Anyone else have this problem?

I agree. It seems like I can barely nudge a teammate with the tip of the ghost’s wing and they die, yet if I hit a enemy full speed they just get their shield popped… Halo 4 problems!

Well , enemies tend to try to avoid being splattered while your teammates don’t think you would try it on them

I had to quote myself!

Halo 4 problems!

Yeah, I’ve really noticed the turning thing. I’m trying to get Splatter-Master for a verdant visor, so I jump in Ghosts whenever possible, and I have like 6 betrayals from rotating with a ghost and nudging a teammate (to death…). At the same time, grazing an enemy at 10 times the speed barely hurts their shields.

And damn dude, don’t even get me started on the banshee/warthog.

I hit a dude this last match I played, going full speed with the mongoose (yes, I know the mongoose isn’t the best…but at top speed it should kill someone) and he just bounced off. No shield popping.

…how about this: When enemies FAIL to move out of the way of my speeding ghost and get hit, they don’t die. While, when I turn 90 degrees while staying still…a teammate dies.

Ghost splatters are still a piece of cake, but ill agree with the banshee. Skyjack fml.

I have managed to get a splatter with the goose. I was playing CTF on Ragnarok and went to pick up my buddy with the enemy flag then the game lagged and next thing I know I splattered my buddy. It counts right? … Halo 4 problems!

Most of the time it’s pretty easy to get splatters for me. The real problem is that vehicles get demolished in this game because everyone has a Plasma Pistol, Plasma Grenades, and a DMR. I got Splatter Master last night, mostly using the Banshee on Valhalla.

And that’s where we get into gooey and crappy lag compensation mechanics. But at the base of your problems, it’s still the fact team mates think you’re not dumb enough to hit them, while enemies move.

To be fair, your teammates usually don’t actively try to dodge or fire back when they see a Ghost in front of them.

Though i’ve been killed by Ghosts who don’t even boost to Splatter.

I feel insulted. Seriously dude? It couldn’t possibly be the fact that THEY aren’t watching where they’re going?

Once this guy on my team (while looking somewhere else) thrustered in front of my tank and died. He booted me.

It’s not always the drivers fault.

its harder to splatter enemies now. splattering teammates has been like that since reach.

I have thought the exact same thing before. It seems like even if I am boosting at full speed in a ghost and hit an enemy in the back, they just get pushed aside. Then whenever I go to turn around and finish them off, the tip of the ghost nudges a team mate and kills them. I doubt that this is anything other than bad coincidences happening so often they seem intentional, but still…
