Apparently everyone in this thread agrees with me except for you. You want to defend the ridiculousness of the challenges that 343 is giving us. You can change your play style to get a challenge, that’s cool with me, but I’m not going to do it. I’ll just quit playing. Which I’ve done.

For someone who says “did you read this thread” it sure seems like you don’t. Because there is one person who agrees with you that the challenge system is busted. As the primary way to earn XP for the season battle passes, I agree with them. As a method of earning event unlocks, I disagree/indifferent.
Four people (myself included) who have not stated an opinion on the challenge system. Until just now. Getting 2 or more separate killing spree medals (5 kills with before a death) is not “ridiculous” nor would it require you to change your playstyle even as an “ok” player.
I get it. You came here to moan. You clearly did not come here seeking advice or help. Keep head budding that wall until you get good at the game or get lucky.
tactical ops has a challenge called “Streak Accident” where you end “enemy killing sprees with”
and it doesnt tell you what the “with” is

A Killing Spree is getting 5 (or more) kills in a single life (ie, kill 5 enemies without dying).
You have to do that not once, but twice. It’s a really terrible Challenge.
So earn two killing sprees in one game?
Doesn’t have to be in the same game but they need to be distinct (separate) so you can’t get a killing spree and then another 5 kills (killing frenzy) - you need to die to start a separate killing spree again
You just need to stop killing sprees in tactical slayer. The description must be bugged.
Depending on how the Challenge is worded - could need getting 2 Killing Sprees, no matter how many games it takes.

Yeah I came here to moan and address the terrible challenges this game still has.
That’s how stuff gets fixed people coming here and addressing their issues with the game.
And get better at the game? Go you know what to yourself. I’ll admit. I’m just above average. Was platinum 6 before reset. Still have a respectable k/d ratio. Getting a 5 kill killing spree in tactical Slayer is pretty hard sometimes, especially when you have major desync problems. Seems like you’re just here to be an a-hole. The challenge is still suck. The desync problem is still horrible. This game is just not fun in its current state.
Which is dumb as hell. But ole Hayk_r Will probably defend it saying it’s a decent challenge having to die in the middle of a streak just to get a damn challenge.
Most of the challenges already take no effort. “play ___ matches” “Get ____ score.” You being bad at the game and not being able to get any killing sprees after a day of playing is not “the challenge system being broken.” You thinking a double kill would count as a killing spree is just the cherry on the cake.
I m onyx. I have friends in gold and plat that got 5 killing sprees this week. Get over yourself because whatever you are doing is not working. Either take some advice and change the way you play or stop wasting your time.

No. I think frenzies, riots, unstoppables etc should count. As for dyeing in a middle of a streak to get the challenge done, buddy work on getting to a “killing spree” first before you start fantasizing about “killing frenzies” and “running riots.”
Are you serious about this? I mean earning a Killing Frenzy in SWAT is pretty impressive regardless.

Dude, when did I ever say I didn’t know what a killing spree was? and your stats aren’t that much better than mine. You have a better K/D, but you’re accuracy is no better than mine.

Well either sweat it out with your normal playstyle and hope nobody cuts you off before you get 5 kills, or lock down a good vantage point and wait for kill starved players to walk into your line of sight. I played about 4 TS matches today and got killing sprees in 3 of them, it’s not difficult.
SWAT has always favored defensible positions with few connecting pathways and long sight lines as opposed to the normal Halo gameplay approach that favors traversal. Pick a corner intersection with good sight lines, and wait for the opposing players to come to you. Play smarter, not harder.
