The cosmetics earned in-game are so lame I don’t even know why 343 bothered other than for PR reasons. Shame on me for thinking it’d be something cool like armor components. My cynicism level with this game keeps increasing every day.
Im sorry you missed the point of the campaign.
Enjoy your life?
I honestly wish they just had left the cosmetics out of the campaign rather than this. It’s just constantly reminding me how stingy 343 and detracting from the game.
It’s funny you accuse 343 of detracting from the campaign when you did that yourself lol
Go troll somewhere else.
Ooof now that’s not right, I’m not the one who did the optional cosmetic fetch quests and missed the entire point of the main story mode, then proceeded to blame someone else for getting distracted my friend
I can understand where you’re coming from. Given the uproar regarding armour components in the MP/store, and having them called ‘armour lockers’, I can understand it being a bit of a let down that you didn’t get any armour from them.
However, as someone who likes to earn armour, having them painted on the map for you so you can just hop in a Wasp and go collect them, to me would have made them less special anyway.
Well, that’s the other issue. There’s very little to actually earn right now.
That only can go so far with a barbone game. I’ll give it a couple of weeks and player will drop this game.
Considering player counts are still hitting 150k daily on PC, it’s held on pretty consistently pretty well since beta dropped last month.
On top of that, the top played game on PC is a barebones title. Players play the game day in day out on about 5 maps total across the same game type, with a barebones progression system, since 2012, and the game averages 600k players low end, and 1mil players high end.
Barebones could go a long way if players let it.
I don’t think many players will drop the game, but most players probably won’t spend much if anything on it.
We’ll probably see what will happen to the game by February.
The only reason you will see people around is becase of the F2p MP. If things don’t drastically improve, we will see the numbers drop. 150K for a new release isn’t anything to brag about when other games are hitting a million+
The numbers will definitely drop, but not by much.
If there aren’t a lot of changes for the better by January though, I could see the amount of players dropping to a third of what they are now.
