Earn 5 killing sprees in fiesta

It’s inconsistent because you can spawn with any weapon.

I have given up on the capstone.

It’s still more consistent than equal start gamemodes. Every time you spawn with a powerful weapon or pick one up off the ground is an excellent opportunity for a killing spree. If you spawn with a Gravity Hammer in a close quarters map, it’s almost a guarantee. Just don’t get cocky.

Rocket Launcher, Grav Hammer and Sword are pretty much the only guarantee kills though. If I spawn with something like a Disrupter, Shock Rifle, Plasma Pistol, Ravager, Sidekick, Pulse Carbine or Commando I’m pretty much out of luck until I pick up something that’s useful. And even then scavenging for weapons is putting you at risk.

My friend had that one so we just let the enemy kill us then had him get all the killjoys in a match. Kinda sad we had to throw though.

I honestly got the lions share of my killing spree kills with the BR and Bulldog. If you play smart this isn’t hard.

I swapped that one. I wasn’t about to -Yoink!- around with something I barely have any control over.

Yeah I’m giving up on this. I’ve spent the last two days without a single killing spree in fiesta. I’ll get to 4 kills and die to a rocket almost every time. Weekly challenges should be swappable, just make a special list of weekly challenges like, I don’t know, win 10 BTB. Or 50 (75, 100?) headshots with the sidekick. This current weekly is just too much, in my opinion.

I only just got the challenge last night and it was one of the most excrutiatingly stupid and frustrating things I’ve done in a game in a while. If it was 5 killing sprees any mode I don’t think it would have been as bad, but because it’s stuck to a mode that’s literally RNG on what you and your enemies get it just makes it that much worse.

I seriously have a blast playing the game when I’m playing the way I want to play, but when they put out some of these stupid challenges that are way to specific half the time it seriously starts to kill my fun for the game.

I was able to get this done today took me around 10 matches. I consider myself an above average player.
The best advise I can give everyone out there is to be patient, pick your spots etc. Learn how to use as many weapons as possible. I was struggling some games and was trying to overthink and stretch the kills out.

The first 5 games I didn’t have any sprees but my last 5 games I got the sprees. There’s so many factors and luck in fiesta but if you are patient and keep working at it, this challenge will be done. I found once I stopped stressing about it, the sprees started coming naturally.

Agreed. I have not paid any attention to the Fiesta triumphs, and they are being completed through normal gameplay. Tomorrow I should have all 7 levels finished for this Fiesta period.

I thought I was done with all my challenges then this one hit. Screw this. I really can live without a shade if they make challenges like this.

It took me less than five matches to get it. I hate to say it, but git gud.

I’m not exactly a master Halo player. I’m fairly casual and not very good. You have like what, three whole days to do it? Why stress?

I managed to complete it, but it took a couple of years off my life. So frustrating.

I can totally understand. I feel my hairline receding.

same here, took a lot of time and my hair got grey

Said the same thing in someone else’s duplicate thread, but I had 5 sprees in fiesta twice as a normal challenge and as my capstone ultimate challenge. I got 3 sprees in a single match. It’s really not that hard. I got one of my sprees doing only melee and back smacks.

Just sword/hammer+grapple/thruster to win, and stop running around in the open without a plan. Snipe and skewer from a distance works. Crouching around walls to ambush enemies with better weapons works. Running around in the open trying to win a fight against rockets with a pistol does not work, so don’t keep doing it and not learn to adapt to a new strategy.

Completing this challenge sucked so much fun out of the mode that I never want to see Fiesta again lol.

I got this twice in a row. First in Tenrai challenge which sucked. Tortured myself through it and the next thing I see is the Ultimate weekly which is exactly the same challenge. I’m at 7/10 now. Made a Running Riot but it counts as one Spree. Had to take a 4 day break from the game. This challenge combined with SBMM, oh yeah.
I don’t have any problems making Killing Sprees in normal fair game modes. This challenge is too much depending on luck and made me completely hate Fiesta. I even liked it before this bs. Have had 0 problems making all of the other weeklys. Now I get frustrated even thinking about this game. Good job testing your challenges 343i.
