Hello everyone, I was wondering if anyone has an extra early specializations code (the one you were supposed to receive on the 20th or later via email) and would be willing to donate it to me, I’ve been stuck at 70 since the 20th, and unfortunately, can’t play without leveling up 3-4 10,000 exp commendations.
I’m willing to give you 14 days of XBL for the code, or some other small items. PM me, and thanks.
You want someone to give up their ability to use 3/4 of the specializations for a 2 week live code, because you can’t wait 6-7 more days for your code to arrive?

I can’t see the time to reach SR70, so I can spend my time with other -Yoink-.
Someone could have created another XBL profile (and either used their 14 day trial on it or used the default 30 days time you receive) and played Halo, thus earning them another code, if I understand 343i’s (flawed) system properly. Meaning there is a metric whole bunch of extra codes floating around.
Not to mention, I have pre-order items for trade, not just XBL time. And, those who had the truly early specialization codes (from LE) will have the extra e-mail code leftover and unused, since they don’t need it.
Think before you speak.

You do realise that 343 never said they would give the codes on the 20th, right? they said if you play before/up to the 20th, then they would give them out at a later date. The 30th, if I remember correctly.
People really need to learn how to listen properly…
I hope you realize, Mr. Genius, that the specialization codes have not been sent out yet. It says “By the 30th”. No one has one yet, or the forums would be clogged up with posts about it.
But it’s okay, that ad hominem is serving you well, bro.

To the idiots who still continue to argue, yes, I did listen. And the code comes BETWEEN the 20th and the 30th, meaning tons of people have already received theirs, but many have also not received one. There were multiple posts just the other day (one I can remember mainly) about people giving away extra codes from their emails as well.
Honestly, I can’t remember where I saw it, but last week (or the week before) it was announced that is how it would work, and I remember seeing “confirmation” posts on places such as IGN, and I think maybe even on HaloCouncil, which basically just re-stated what was said by 343.

A simple google search could find such posts, sir.
> You can play another game, like Black Ops II, for now.
I understand, and not to sound rude, but I don’t really have a desire to play anything else, which, I understand it’s essentially my choice to be “bored”. I would just play H4 Custom games…if the in-game file share system was working. >_>
This is the first post I found via google, and while it doesn’t say exactly what I had said (which was mentioned elsewhere, it even could have been a post on these forums) notice that 343 said “BY december first” and “BY november 30th”. The codes started sending on the 20th and will continue to be sent out until then, when they have all the codes out to everyone.
I can also confirm this seeing as how someone I routinely play with on XBL received their code yesterday. It seems like the process is just really slow at the moment.

“By Nov. 30 or Dec. 1” does not prove that codes were sent out before said times. 343i said “by then”, not “starting on the 20th, until x date”. I’d think that if codes were starting to be sent out, one could easily find confirmation via google search.
It does prove it, lol. They wouldn’t make the elementary school grammar mistake of using “by” instead of “on” if they didn’t already send the codes out, and be my guest to scrounge the internet looking for confirmation.

It proves nothing. They used the word “by” because had they said “on”, they’d be expected to deliver them all on that one date.
By saying “by”, they implied that the codes will arrive by said date. That means they will probably start to send that out earlier. In no way, however, does that imply that they would start sending them on the 20th. The 20th was merely the date by which you had to play Halo 4 to be eligible to receive a specialization code by the 30th.

I’ll work on my people skills with people who are worthy of my good natured side. Not those who come in to my thread simply to bash me or give me sh*t. If you don’t think I’m right, stay out of my thread and let it sink in the vast nothingness that is page 2 forums and beyond.
