Cutter already dominates the early game with his highly mobile infantry and capture speed, so why is he the only leader able to capture power nodes with jackrabbits? In an attempt bring Anders up to par, I think it would be very helpful to remove the Jackrabbit capture passive from Cutter’s Raid II, and give it to Ander’s R&D II. This would give her jackrabbits (arguably the worst scout unit right now) more utility and help Anders with her severely lacking early game.
Actually played a Anders yesterday while being cutter in solo… having that unsc raid is extremely helpful early game, especially against another UNSC leader. He even grabbed another 2 mini bases to mass sentinels but those melted quick against my ODSTs and early hornets. She is legitimately the only leader I haven’t gotten into playing as yet.

That would not help her enough her main problem is her sentinels are useless. R&D should be 1 point, 2 at the most so you can go for other leader powers. As of right now a standard LP build for sentinels would be R&D 1, Protective Sentinel, R&D 2, Sentinel Synergy(Which is terrible because sentinels are useless). So at most R&D should be 2 points. but further more I go back to mention she is not going to improve until the sentinels are buffed. This is because of terrible early game and the sentinels can cripple the opponent to bring her into the mid game on even terms. R&D starts to kick in, in the mid game so these 2 changes is ideally what she needs.

She needs a total rework. It’s not just her early game, literally everything about her is awful.

Good players can make it work. My only issue when playing as Anders is being too slow with her infantry to capture/maintain power nodes. Jackrabbit capture ability would solve that.

your infantry is slower than cutter infantry which means you get run over. retaking nodes with rabbits is not a solid strat because it relies on the other player to make the mistake of sending his whole army to each node as a rabbit takes each node. let me reiterate, you are basically hoping the cutter takes to much time fooling around with nodes while you get tech 2 and as anders you don’t have many options to defend off the marines and flamers at tech 2.
Good players cant make it work because anders doesn’t have good enough sentinels or any other options to defend or take the map against marine flamers or choppers.

Rabbits may be worse then chopper/ghosts, but I can defend just fine against an infantry rush with just rabbits and base turrets, so your reiteration in the above comment is irrelevant. what kind of infantry rush are you defending against lol.
grenade throw marines are the end of jackrabbits and 12 flamers will wipe your base of turrets.
anyone good will not allow a few jackrabbits to capture some points and keep them for very long. at most you are getting 1 min with those nodes which is not enough time to gain a lead in economy and keep that lead. cutters speed infantry probably would retake the nodes faster than jackrabbits can take them.

Well we agree on one thing…a “few” rabbits certainly wouldn’t hold off any rush. I’m well into the double digits by the time infantry make it to my base, and with a bit of micro it’s all too easy to win, even when losing some rabbits to grenades. Though, I do play on PC so micro is easier for me, which could explain things.

Playing on PC would explain why you’ve been defending marine flamer. On xbox jackrabbits are extinct and will instantly lose you the game.
This is one of those posts where i laughed and cried at the same time. Rabbits lose to marines. Cutter kills anders in 3 minutes. U will get 0 nodes. U lose. End of story. Im the best anders player in the game. And ik telling you. It can’t be done. Sorry. No sugar coating from me. 
Honestly Anders is not as bad as what people are making her out to be. In fact me and my buddies have recently begun to use her in 3s. Having a tier 1 air unit that can melt choppers is a huge asset in the current meta. The team I play with primarily use her sentinels to support when my team mate and I get into a chopper battle then follow it up with an early atriox base push + sentinal becon kodiaks. I wouldn’t use her in 2v2s and 1v1s though as the sentinels are really only effective as support units and should be swapped out for hornets in the later game.
Anders is solid even in solo war. Throw a couple points in R & D, go double barracks on a quick expo, and keep upgrading your infantry units (snipes, flamers, marines, and global). You will win any early/mid gate if you play well.

Does that settle it… Let me guess if your rooting for the worst leader in the game you definitely don’t know anything about the game. If I had to bet you love ranked 3s and team war. Another guess would be you avoid solo because your afraid of cutter and any banish leader, or is it your self confidence. A large part of why she sucks is because unsc sucks. Aside from Cutter. Honestly cutters raid should get nerfed to open up strategies for other Unsc Leaders. Like for example only increasing the speed of marines and odst instead of all infantry.
Also I’m aware her sentinels aren’t the best especially early game (Such a waste of a leader point and resources), her offensive and defensive leader points are bad (Aside from the retriever sentinel)
Sentinels also can be pretty strong later in the game because they are quite a bit faster still than hornets and do well while kiting for their fairly long range (Although a large part of their damage comes by their extra aggressor sentinel support that can’t fire from their max range).
because of their shields they can take multiple fights and harass around the map while not being forced to retreat to heal or have nighting gales slowing them down.
Two other good points about sentinels is they do fairly well versus buildings (Which a lot of unsc units don’t) and they are fairly cheap to produce comparatively to other air units.
But yeah their ability sucks and they aren’t good until you get upgrades rolling.
But even if their ability was better say knock off a second of their firing time, it’d be pretty annoying getting your units constantly stunned. I think it could use a little bit of a rework potentially.

Sure thing Nightshade! My Xbox is coming in on Wednesday (I’ve been playing PC but I’m switching for the larger community).
I pretty much only play solo war (currently champ 5 on PC) and main atriox. I just started playing some USNC including Anders and I do find her pretty viable with good play. I agree that none of her abilities after R&D are great and that sentinels/kodiaks aren’t worth the LP, but an infantry control game with fast upgrades is pretty good. I had a lot of trouble with a champion shipmaster due to the lack of mobility but against any other leader I think she could easily dominate the early/mid game.
USNC are definitely playable at a high level you just have to use all the tools you have effectively - same thing you have to do with atriox or any other leader.
ASConviction - I haven’t tried her ult yet. Where do you find it to be useful?
Btw I think Anders would be spectacular if one of her T4 abilities was swapped with a pelican transport to match up with banished T4 tele.
