Sure, it may sting that the b.net legion swooped in and stole off with the lions share of the codes like they were Sabine Women, but think of it as a $500 marketing campaign by 343i rather than feeling shafted that your “loyalty” wasn’t rewarded. Maybe this will bring more awareness to the great work done on this website and increase to community presence on these forums (as long as it doesn’t lead to several pages of armor lock and bloom threads.) Is it nice getting freebies? Yeah, but do you expect bs angel to send out 50 PMs with codes?
I’d pay for mine. I just want it now

What they said.
Though I’m always slightly impatient when there’s less than 5 days left
I couldn’t help to read your post name with an old grandmas voice.

I agree. The weekend is here and it would be great to check out the new maps over the next few days.
Hi um, yeah I’m sure 99% have left already. Personally, while I tried a code or 2 (I’m a huge fan how could I not?), as a huge fan of the Halo series since CE, I was delighted to find where discussion had moved to, wasn’t sure where the “343 forums” where before this. 343’s vision of the future of Halo excites me, here to support
Yep, I was totally intent on buying them, and I still am. Though another round of codes would be nice.
I got one code and the map pack downloaded - I can see the file under the Halo Reach tab on my Xbox’s memory page. But for some reason I can’t access the content in game. Does anybody know how I can fix this?
You know, a lot of Bnet folks didn’t even know 343 had forums. Spreading the love at Bungie.net isn’t a bad thing. If anything it’s giving this website publicity. And believe you me- I know quite a few who didn’t think about this site before. They’ve gained more loyalty thanks to the person who let Bnet know about codes.
Oh, to the person with the problem accessing the map:
I don’t have a mappack code nor am I positive this is the case in Halo: Reach. But in Halo 3, if you were over the 151 Custom Content limit (100 for maps, films, and gametypes the others for screenshots) you couldn’t access DLC content. Each individual map counts towards that limit (or did so in Halo 3). It’s possible that you may be experiencing this in Reach.
I would suggest you go and delete some custom maps you have saved- at least 3 and any you’ve downloaded since downloading the maps. See if they appear in your Forge item list then. And let me know, because I’m genuinely curious if this persists in Reach too. Thanks!

A lot of people seem to be having these problems. Try deleting Noble and redownloading Defiant.
It was what finally brought me to sign up.

I knew about this site a week ago when a link was posted on b.net. However due to some weird error the forums would never load up for me, using firefox.
Also Twitter seems to be a good spot to go to, but I am only following a few people from 343, frankie needs to be more active imo.

How would deleting Noble allow me to redownload Defiant? I just want to know what I’m doing before I delete anything that causes me to waste money.
I’ll try Burrito’s idea too, although I’m sure that Reach’s custom content limit is capped at 1000 of each file type.

You can always redownload them for free. It’s just the solution I have seen working.
Matclan, while I would still recommend my advice:
Just so you know, if you did delete the Noble Mappack and you already have it, you wouldn’t be wasting money. Once you have downloaded something, as long as it is on the marketplace you can download it again free of charge as long as you’re using the same XBL Account. Yes, even if you got it with a code instead of buying it straight off the marketplace. Just in case you did not know.

Yeah, I just deleted Noble and redownloaded it. I can’t get Defiant however as it doesn’t appear to be on the Marketplace. So it looks like I’m stuck with it on my HDD until Tuesday at which point I’ll redownload it for free.

Go to account management under the guide button, in there is recent downloads. The pack will be in there. Cheers!
Thanks Boss! I feel so dumb for not knowing about this before!
Yeah sorry. My wording of ‘as long as it’s on the marketplace’ wasn’t quite clear looking back at it. My apologies there, hah.
