Early Access MP Stream Schedule

Hey all!

Today, you’ve started to see some multiplayer streams come online as press, YouTubers, and early access players download the multiplayer update and jump into matchmaking with full disregard of other responsibilities. If you’re reading this, you’ve probably already caught a few streams, and whether it makes the wait easier or longer, we hope you like what you’re seeing so far, and are excited to jump in.

Also, the amount of early access codes that have been distributed is very low – we’re talking only a few hundred copies worldwide. As such, we’ve set up a dedicated matchmaking schedule (and pre-release playlists) for press to jump into. Players and press are free to search (and stream) matchmaking outside of these times, but matchmaking times will depend on how many lucky early access players are searching with them, within their rank.

To help you schedule your Twitch viewing this weekend, here’s a handy schedule of when early access players and press will be jumping into matchmaking together (all times Pacific US, cause that’s where we live):

Keep an eye on Twitch over the weekend for more multiplayer action, including some familiar faces from the HCS, and be sure to tune into Halo 5: LIVE on Monday for what should be an excellent culmination of launch night hype.

NO Infection, File Browser, KOTH, Assault, Regicide, only 6 Arena are original, rest are Forge maps. They’ve all been removed completely.

Don’t worry though they made sure to include Esports and REQ packs Micro-Transactions for you.

Oh good! Multiplayer streams are safe to watch. I don’t want to see any of the campaign.

Thanks mate this was what I believed was needed from the start with these Early Access release codes at least forewarning that people would get it in advance and be able to stream it in advance if it had been scheduled like this would have made things a lot better and more professional not to mention easier to avoid accidentally catching Halo 5 campaign play while browsing Twitch >.>

Prety cool, thanks for sharing Bravo. I caught a CTF match on truth earlier and everything looked really smooth. Can’t wait to jump in a play :slight_smile:
