A follow up to my last question, what is the hardest solo legendary campaign. So far I’ve done Halo reach, Halo 3, Halo 4 and starting odst. Iv’e heard Halo 2 is the hardest. So out of Halo CE, Halo 2, Halo 3, Halo Reach, Halo ODST, Halo 4, and Halo 5 which is the easiest. Easiest for me so far would have to be Halo 4
Halo 4 for sure the easiest on Legendary.
- Halo game with the least amount of missions - Noob combo strategy still works - That pelican skip on Reclaimer though.Some of Halo 4’s missions have you breeze through various parts without needing to engage in any firefights and the parts where you DO have to stand your ground are easy with a lot of cover and ammo.
Halo 3. Completed it in 6 hours. I found 4 much harder especially mission 3- forerunner.
Halo 5’s was the easiest for me followed closely by Halo 4. Mostly because the campaign is really short, and there are several areas where you can skip any conflict at all. I’d say the hardest is Halo 2. Those damn Jackal snipers never blink.
Halo 5
I seem to remember Reach being really easy for me, same with Halo 4. Not many parts to get stuck on.
I honestly never struggled through my entire playthrough of ODST on legendary. Once you got killed by jackal snipers on Mombasa streets once, you knew what to look for. So many health packs and gun stashes everywhere, plus pretty basic missions and a lot of characters with MCI.
Halo 4.
On the Xbox it was possible to start from an rally point and still getting the achivment.
From what i’ve heard H4 is the easiest to solo legendary.
I’ve only ever soloed H1, H3 and H5 on legendary, I completed H5 with the most ease… not saying its easy, though…
I never beat halo 4, CE, or Halo 2 on legendary. Halo 5 took me 12 hours. I think halo 3 odst took awhile but it was fairly easy. Halo Reach was also kind of easy, it just took me awhi

3 or 4 it’s pretty close
Difficulty of Campaigns (Easiest to Hardest)
- Halo 2 (mostly because of the jackal snipers and unbalanced enemies)
- Halo CE (one of the few balanced difficulties where you always have a good chance in beating the enemies)
- Halo Reach (annoying ai unpredictability with melees and concussion rifles as well as poor allied ai including Noble Team and Marines)
- Halo 3 (most diverse legendary in which you have a plethora of strategies, there is no one way of beating levels in this game)
- Halo 5: Guardians (few mechanics work in this game, revive system slows the pacing of the game, unbalanced ai and almost useless Spartan abilities and squad)
- Halo 3: ODST (pretty much the same thing as Halo 3 minus equipment and flood, not a big difference anyway)
- Halo 4 (Easiest legendary but also the most boring, knights make the game a slogfest and you run out of ammo really quickly, suffers from a few of the issues that i mentioned for Halo 5: Guardians)
I’ve soloed all campaigns on Legendary except for Reach (did it splitscreen) without skulls. Haven’t played Halo Wars so I can’t count it in the list
I would say HCE simply because you can just keep EMping all the enemies you find. plus if you die you spawn with an AR and plasma pistol so yeah, essentially infinite EMP

Is it bad I struggled to beat CE and 2 on normal difficulty? I beat HALO 5 on normal like a breeze.
halo 3 easily
Halo 5. The only part I had any real trouble with was the last room where you had to guard exuberant for a set time. Most of the issues I had there were just me not paying attention
Halo 5 & Halo 4…
If i’m playing legitimately Halo 4 is the easiest. if i’m speed running ODST is by far the easiest, you can skip most of the campaign.

Halo 5 I found on the easier difficulties compared to the originals was pretty easy, Halo CE and Halo 2 were probably the hardest ones to beat in the series if you were to try them on higher difficulties.
