I’m not sure if others have felt like this but it feels like some games are great enjoyable Halo and others are some free to play wannabe FPS. I can feel what kind of game it will be at the very beginning…
There are games where I can win fights with bullets in my AR to spare, switch to pistol and fight with others. Grenades deal damage and I get kills and sprees.
Then there are games where I use an entire clip with my AR and don’t even take out their shields, I get killed cross map pistoling like I’m shooting peanuts. I’ll punch through enemies while they punch and kill me.
It’s honestly maddening. How can each game feel completely different? Is the lag and network code that bad?
Glad I’m not the only one who noticed. Some games, everything feels great, just like the training mode simulations I’ve mastered. Other times, I feel a step behind enemies at all times with delays on everything; melee hits don’t register even though I hear the audio cue, bullets don’t register as hits when they should, aim assist and bullet magnetism seems to stop functioning, I get shot around 90 degree corners, etc.
I know its not a region-oriented bad connection to the primarily united states servers they are using for the flights because I am in the United States. Yet the game still has the issues for a local like me.
I guess the network code is just that bad. Inconsistent too. Makes a bad combination.
I would use the age old trump card; “Its just a technical test.” But I hear you. This game has serious bugs and balances that need fixed. This being a major one.
