Man, that was quite underwhelming. I don’t know if it was the lack of competition at the actual event this year or what, but E3 was quite boring. They announced Halo Infinite last year, they should’ve given us gameplay this year. Eldenring looks cool, I’m sure the story will be something fun, but I’m kind of disappointed in Microsoft this year. The highlight of the show was Keanu Reeves. Haha…they better go BIG next year. All out or bust.
Even though there was no gameplay I’m still hype. Should be a fantastic game based on how long we’ve waited.
I am still hyped for Infinite. I am going to buy and play the crap out of this game, but HOLY COW! What were they thinking with that trailer?!? Literally 5 minutes of me going “please don’t be it, please don’t be it!” And then that was it! That was all they showed?!? Last year was amazing.

Yeah, that was very interesting. I didn’t see enough to have a strong opinion one way or the other. Regardless, I’m sure I’ll play and love Halo Infinite when it launches.
Showing gameplay a year before launch is a terrible idea. Games change rapidly over the course of months in development and mechanics come and go, the fact that people believed gameplay would be shown is just insane.

Next year’s gonna be huge I feel. New console, launch lineups, a few month’s away from Infinite’s release so we’ll definitely see something big. I think this E3 was just the calm before the storm because it’s gonna be after next E3 that anything major is actually going to release. Other than Gears 5, that looks really good

I was only there for halo. I don’t care about any other game or the new console.
For a trailer for a game that isn’t coming out until over a year I thought it was FREAKING AWESOME! I loved it! The design for Master Chief and the new Halo theme song were awesome! It looks like they are taking the style back to the golden days of Halo but with new more detailed graphics. It actually looks like Halo again! I understand it didn’t reveal a whole lot but if you want a good game it is better not to rush the production just so you can dispense trailers for millennials who need instant gratification. I loved it… I’m sitting here spazzing out right now. As for the gameplay trailers I can wait. I’m just glad that 343 is on the right track!
I was bummed to see no gameplay, but it still has another year. This also assuming they don’t decide to reveal it earlier since it will have flights like MCC is having now. The trailer was so awesome and I am hyped!!
Yeah there wasn’t anything during the Microsoft presentation that was all that exciting. The Halo trailer was ok, but it felt more like an announcement trailer than a cinematic trailer. It was pretty though

I’m still hype but I mean it feels like just last year they announced Scorpio, but that’s when it actually dropped. They said Halo Infinite will drop with Project Skarlet. I hope they make Xbox One versions. But then again, they have been big of cross-platforming recently. I wanted to see more from Halo.

you have a point.
Given that the game still has almost a year and a half of development left, gameplay was always pretty unlikely. I feel like historically we get a trailer at E3 the year before release, and first look at gameplay at the E3 the year of release for Halo games. (Could be remembering wrong of course). So for me, this was pretty fine. A nice look at the new engine’s graphics and the return to classic Bungie era art style. Next year we’ll get a more in-depth look at the game.
